Comprehensive review of DRTC should be completed immediately.

The representatives of All India DRDO Technical Officers’ Association (AIDTOA) requested Dr.S.Christopher, Secretary, DD (R&D) & Chairman, DRDO the following:

.Comprehensive review of DRTC should be completed at the earliest.

.Implement all court judgments & Govt. Orders in true spirit. Refund the amounts recovered to all uniformly. Withdraw unethical appeals filed. Establish Grievance Redressal Machinery for Officers.

.Increase the number of Scientist ‘B’ vacancies from 11 (09 in Engg.& 02 in Non-Engg.subjects) in LDCE likely to be held on 09.07.17.

.STA ‘B’ and other Technical Personnel with 05 years regular service should be made eligible for appearing LDCE.

.Those who have appeared already for five times also should be given opportunity to appear for LDCE.

.The weightage to the marks secured in interview should be reduced from 50% and the weightage for written test should be increased.

. Other subjects which were left out also should be added to the list of subjects applicable for LDCE 2016.

The response is not positive. Until and unless all the Tech. Officers are united and organized and relentless programme of action is carried out, resolution of problems of Tech. Officers will remain a mirage.

AIDTOA reiterates its proposal for merger of all the three Associations of Technical Officers and hopes that in future the Technical Officers will have a single independent vibrant recognised Association unifying the entire Technical Officers fraternity.
